Hello, I'm just blogwalking here and found your blogspot from your interest in Manga.

But you have nice collection of artwork too. Which is quite similar to me (however I tend to prefer digital art)

If you also have deviantart account, tell me. I'm at http://firewalker06.deviantart.com

And visit my blogspot to comment on one or two things of your interest :)

Oh, almost forgot, regarding your art Abruzzo. Hmm... Is your style always like this all the time? Because on the Silver Lake Forest you use dark and more colors. As well as in the painting of Yacht.

In this painting you use light colors. Is it based on the original picture or just your creativity. Because I think it's pretty good actually. :)

Maybe if you take a picture in photo studio, the result will be better if it was scanned to the computer. That's all, thank you.

Thanks for trying to post a comment about my version of the Abruzzo. I don't know if it should make a difference but I sometimes find it easier to add comments if I've logged in to Blogger from my own account first. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing this one finished with or without aliens!
Steve.

Thank for comment

*) Hi..DIDIK
finally someone find the light to see my blog by his own (ha ha....)
I used to ask everybody I know to see mine and review it..XD

I just post the original photo so everybody can see how it’s change..
I’m not really sure what u mean about the Style…
I think I’m trying to be Expressionist in every paint,
however I’m still stick on Realis??? (or Not? Hhm my hand not permit me to mess the original shape I think… though I really want to try Abstrack)

but if its about the colour, I tend to use dark colour than bright…
Coz I think the Image will be have more Mystery on it..
So U can imagine something on it… not just flat painting

But…Oh well that’s all depend what picture I want to create,
Sometime everybody near me also make influence on my choose of colour..
Especially my father… He Surely Lov Bright Colour…
He can stare long time when see it, so I try to make him happy by using bright colour 
That’s all Art about rite? To make Happy everybody who see it..
But I like it to have another variation.

Oh ya.. I will lov to see u’re work too… see u there
And Thank u very much.

*) STEVE
Actually I already do that Yesterday… but yah u know, it wasn’t work…
But I’ll try again today.. see ya there…Ohh and thank you for your supporting
*Smile

I also happy that Indonesian are trying to fill the world wide web with their arts.

Oh, so you're an expressionist. Wow, I found a lot in DeviantArt too. But mostly they still keep composure in realist art. So both expressionist-realist are usually mixed together. If you have time (and bandwidth), try browse my friends gallery. He got an award last month from deviantart.

Bright colors, bright colors, I do like it, in some or many circumstances. In Pop Art for instance. You use many bright colors (just like in O channel)

Dark Colors... I'm not hating it, in fact my art was dark-theme at the beginning. I do like gothic styles. Black clothes, lot of white make ups, cosplaying and stuff. :D :D Quite a D.Grayman lovers (a manga). But right now I am concentrating on bright colors because it's more commercial (I do freelance apparently :) )

I think it looks really good so far, but the shadows need a bit more definition--the work seems to "exist" in only one plane.

Otherwise, the design and line are very good, and the sky is terrific.
